For regular household cleaning mix a quarter of a cup of tsp with two gallons of hot water.
Tsp in carpet cleaner.
Then add a quart of chlorine bleach to the tsp solution.
One small note concerning tsp and other powdered cleaners tsp is not always easy to mix well enough to eliminate particles in the mix under normal useage this isn t always a problem especially if you rinse behind it but it would be a potential issue in something like carpet.
